The beginning
We know how it goes. Your shelves are overflowing, your TBR is growing, and there are perfectly good romance novels sitting in a box that deserve to be read again.
Romance Rehome is our book trade-in program, built for readers who want to pass their books on to someone who will love them just as much as they did, and walk away with store credit toward their next great read.
It's simple, it's sustainable, and it keeps more romance in more hands.
How it works
01 — You are welcome to DM Us First
Before you bring anything in, send us a DM on Instagram (@pagesandinkco) with a list of the titles you'd like to trade in. We'll let you know which ones we can accept before you make the trip.
02 — Drop Off In Store
Once we've confirmed your books, bring them into Pages & Ink at 1018 Van Ronkle Street, Conway, AR. We do not accept mail-in trades. Drop-off only. It takes us roughly 4 days to review.
03 — Earn Store Credit
We'll assess your books in store and issue you store credit toward anything in the shop: books, candles, gifts, you name it. Store credit only; we do not offer cash.
What we accept
We're a romance-dedicated bookstore, so we keep our trade-in program focused on what we know best.

✓ Trade paperbacks published 2016 or later
✓ Books in good, clean condition. No highlighting, writing, water damage, or broken spines
✗ Mass market paperbacks
✗ Other genres
✗ Books published before 2016
✗ Damaged, annotated, or heavily worn copies

FAQ
Can I just bring books in without DMing first?
Yes!
Do you offer cash for trade-ins?
No. Romance Rehome is a store credit program only. Credit can be used on anything in the store, including books, candles, and gifts.
How much store credit will I receive?
Credit is assessed based on the condition and sellability of each book. We'll give you a full breakdown before you commit to the trade.
What happens to books you don't accept?
You are welcome to DM to avoid not accepting. We take 4 days to review, and then we will text you with an offer. From there, you can pick up books we didn't accept.
Can I trade in a book I bought from Pages & Ink?
Yes! As long as it meets our condition and genre requirements, previously purchased books are welcome back.
Do I need to be a local customer?
You do need to be able to drop off in person at our Conway location. We don't accept mail-in trades at this time.
